Julia Chung is a highly educated, experienced financial professional specializing in personal finance, multi-generational family wealth, legacy, and succession planning. Her passion and drive to help people achieve is evidenced in her business, volunteer, and educational life.
Julia founded JYC Financial in 2011 as an independent financial planning firm. In 2017, she merged her practice with Sandi Martin, co-founding Spring Financial Planning, a conflict-free financial planning firm offering advice-only personal finance services.
Julia has also co-founded Admin Slayer, a virtual business services company, and is a charter member of Lead Family Enterprise Advisors, an independent, multi-disciplinary family enterprise advisory firm. She is also an advisory board member for Entrepreneur Mom Now, an online network, education, and support system for business mothers like herself.
Julia co-authored the ebooks “Women & Money” and “The Art of Delegation” with her partners at Spring and Admin Slayer. She has held the role of Business Editor for Gazette and PowHerHouse magazines, and has written for many publications on business and finance. She has volunteered with the Institute of Family Enterprise Advisors on the events committee, with the Canadian Cancer Society and the Ride to Conquer Cancer, and regularly volunteers with Junior Achievement BC, a financial literacy program for children.
Julia’s lifelong dedication to education has provided her with multiple designations and a thirst for knowledge that has extended her expertise beyond any single area of expertise, allowing her to analyse and advise from multiple perspectives.
